Hi Yeah. i was playing around with the new bomb system in Miarmy, awesome feature ! however. When i try to cache out my agents maya crashes. I suspect that it is the RBD emitter that is causing the trouble. Because maya only crashes when my RBD bodies touches the agents. i hope it's not a difficult issue to solve. And also i am eager to get my hands on the 2.5 manual. will look forward to it And thank you for listening to all of us here for feedbag regards Andrew

Hi Andrew, Thank you for your feedback! have you used the "bomb.in" channel?? I'll test it tomorrow, and then would you please send me you crash file? Miarmy New Video tutorials 120+ videos is recording, and then we'll write the manual, totally will need 1 month about~~ Thank you! --Yeah Hi Yeah. i was playing around with the new bomb system in Miarmy, awesome feature ! however. Hi yeah. Yes i am using the bomb.in channel. i have attached the scene file, hope you guys can fix the problem. another small issue i forgot to mention, is that if i use the dynamic RBD bodies, most of them penetrate the terrain. the only way i can avoid that, is by removing all terrain geometries in my scene, so that it is only the standard grid terrain that can hold the RBD bodies. And the last thing is when i use the delete contact event, it seems like it deletes my agents AND my RBD bodies. Is that how it is supposed to work ? ah new tutorials, sounds great have already looked into some of them, great stuff! thanks for helping me out Attachments:

Hello Andrew, 1. the bomb and delete event can be cached now, and will update the software soon (maybe 2.5.02) 2. the penetration will happened when very fast collide and "hold"event, and the standard grid should be the same as "marked terrain" I think, would you please clear out the transformation data on your terrain. 3. the delete issue, is that possible send us a file? Sounds very strange ... thank you for your testing!! --Yeah Hi yeah. Hy Yeah, sorry for the late reply i managed to almost solve the penetration issue. I forgot to increase the sub steps to enhance the computation, but even at 10 sub steps there is still some penetration occurring. I also tried the hold event, and regardless of how many sub steps there was, a lot of the RBD bodies penetrates the terrain. Also i had some dynamics decisions for the agents when hit by the RBD bodies, but the RBD bodies just stick to the agents and doesn't trigger any dynamics for the agents. every terrain is zeroed out and history deleted. i am providing you guys with the scene. ps. i couldn't reproduce the delete event issue, but my RBD bodies does not affect my agents when using the delete event. Is that how it should work ? and thank you again kind regards Andrew Attachments:

Hello andrew, Sorry for the late reply, our tool released the latest version, and we went out for vacation:) I checked your file and found the "gravity" is too bit, when I decrease it, will not penetrate I hope this is helpful~~ Thank you! --Yeah Hy Yeah, sorry for the late reply i managed to almost solve the penetration issue.
