Hi Yeah,me again, the battle keep going,on goalem you can use a bitmap to place agents. So i was thinking that maybe we can use a script to delete agents based on another object say a cube, sphere or a more complicated 3d structure I found this script technicallyitsart.wordpress.com/2013/12/28/maya-python-select-by-volume/But i select the object, run and get an error # Error: expected an indented block # Also, how can we get agents marked as dead alive again? Thanks!!!

Hello rusoloco, 1. This error is means you code have indentation problem maybe you need adjust the indentation before run it. Please make sure you "blank" sign need to be same as website. 2. It can be only done by mel command: Please mark the "show digi" on and then use below getAttr McdPlace0.epSkip[16]; // get the mark dead on/off result 16th agent of this place setAttr McdPlace0.epSkip[16] 0; // turn off mark dead 16th agent of this place setAttr McdPlace0.epSkip[16] 1; // mark dead 16th agent of this place About the comparation: I think Miarmy is totally different from golaem in many aspects. I found golaem used in a lot of stadium scene and it based on particle, it should faster than miarmy in that case. But Miarmy most used in film (there are more than 30 films used and using Miarmy) because there are a lot of features and physical stuffs. So I'm not sure your comparison is fair enough LOL. All in all, thank you very much for your testing! Cheers! --Yeah Hi Yeah,me again, the battle keep going,on goalem you can use a bitmap to place agents. Thanks!,its just that we dont have time to dig on both programs so we compare small things like placement speed, cache, memory, etc.
Thanks again, hoping to see 3.0 soon
