Hello,
when using the Arnold DSO for maya 2014, there is no aiShader.ass file created when exporting assets. When I render the scene I get corrupted agent colors (red on some geometry)
I also don't find the Miarmy Arnold Render > Export Shader ASS file...
What can this be?
using miarmyexpress3.0 beta for Linux, maya 2014
thanks,
bern

Installed 3.0
also NO aiShader.ass file generated...Is this normal?
I get this error message in the terminal:

Dear Bernard, I'm so sorry for the late reply because the forum have some problems last several days at our end. Would you please send us your scene, If the aiShader.ass not export correctly, that's NOT normal. We'll test the Linux also and see is there any problem. Thanks,
now I manage to render my agents...
The aiShader is exported, but not to the same location as the other assets.(geometry,weights...) It's always exported to maya project directory, in the DATA folder...
when I remove the original agent and just use the standin from arnold, the my agents render pink/redish...
NOTE: When rendering agents with RANDOMIZE TEXTURES (loco, stadium) , the agents do not render properly... (some geometry parts are NOT shaded ) When rendering the combat agent (using NO randomize textures) they are OK...
using miarmy 3.0 linux64, maya 2014
greets,
bern

Hello Bern, You're problem is weird, please be patient, we'll find a way to solve it. We're sorry about the inconvenience. 1. Would you please try this MEL command: arnoldExportAss -f "e:/aiShader.ass" -asciiAss -mask 16 -lightLinks 0 -shadowLinks 0; you can change the "e:/aiShader.ass" to whatever you like existed in you machine. And see is the file exported to the right place. 2. May I ask, If you put the aiShader.ass from DATA folder to right place, is the image can be rendered out correctly?? Thank you for your detailed feedback! Best regards! --Yeah Read more: basefount.proboards.com/thread/162/arnold-dso#ixzz2whZ2Gh8gThanks, now I manage to render my agents...
