Hi. i have been trying for some time now to create an agent with some tail movement. the idea is that when my agent rotates / turns. there should be some kind of drag from the tail. it kinda works if i make a turn action for both left and right, but the movement i get in the sim looks weird. the agent turns correctly but it keeps turning left and right when it tries to get to it´s destination. another idea was to only animate the tail and let the rotation variable in decision editor control it´s movements. the tail did turn when it rotated but it kept self cycle. it´s a little hard to explain by words what´s happening, but if someone could explain to me how you would setup the animation i would appreciate it a lot. thank you

Maybe the best solution is using dynamic joints, have you try it?? I means the partial dynamics just open the dynamic from root of tail.
Yes its a bit hard to using channel control the rotate of tail~

Hi Yeah, thank you for your quick reply well i did try with dynamic joints, unfortunately the joints became too loose and i had trouble getting the dynamic limits working. and also i don´t think it would be very beneficial to use dynamic joints when simulating 10 k agents or even 100 k. and by the way.. how is the updated manual going ? - referred to the new dynamic joints limit section. i would also like to now if it is possible to create the same kind of rotation movement with actions as you do with the rotation channel? If that would work then i could do the tail movement. kind regard Andrew.

Thank you for your testing Andrew, We'll provide a video tutorial as soon as possible for explained the new joints limit. Yes you can use XXX:rx XXX:ry XXX:rz for setup joints but currently I cannot figure out how to make it interactive with the body of actor. So it's relatively hard to setup tail by hand from my points of view~~ Let me think about it and answer you if I have any new idea regards!
