Hey, I've installed the windows version of Miarmy for Maya 2014. I've been following the tuturial videos on how to set up an original agent, but I've stumbled into problems. Both seem to be related.
1. The video instructs to scale up the bounding box to match the size of the character. I can select and scale the bounding box, but I can't see it in my viewport, so I can't see if it's the correct scale or not and am left guessing.
2. When I attempt to create placement nodes (I wish to use a formation) again, I have no visual nodes, no matter how much I scale them in the channel box - there's nothing, and when I try to place characters on the non-existant nodes (thinking that they must be there, just not visible), I get invisible agents too!!
Any ideas what the problem is?

Make sure you're not using Viewport 2.0
If that's not the case, try opening one of the "samples" scenes. They should work. If that's not the case, can you share your scene?

Sorted, thankyou! It wasn't Viewport 2.0 but it was the renderer that was causing the problem.
