Is there a way to do this?
For example I have a collar bone that has a dummy shape inside the chest shape so I would like to remove it from the physics simulation, however if I enable "Disable Dyn Sub Tree" this also removes the whole arm. I guess I could move it outside the chest and scale it down but is there not a way just to remove it from dynamics? Or should I make it a compound RBD?...
Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike, Would you please check video tutorial: 117 Compound Bones for RBD Or document: basefount.atlassian.net/wiki/display/MDE/Compound+RBD+BonesAnd I hope this is what you need Cheers! --Yeah Is there a way to do this? I tried this but i'm still getting some twitching in the joints. Could I send you my file?

Oh yes Mike, please send file if possible, that the most time-saving method to locate the problem If the file is sensitive or large, please send to "info@basefount.com" Cheers! --Yeah I tried this but i'm still getting some twitching in the joints. Could I send you my file?

I've attached my file. It's just a very simple setup to test the physics. I'm pretty sure that the bones causing the problems are the small ones in the chest. But I can't Disable the Dynamic Sub Tree as this will remove the arms too.. I think i've setup the joints and dummy shapes correctly but if you had time to have a quick look at those that would be great! Thanks, Mike ARM_humanIK_anima_OAT_v015_mlb.zip (605.51 KB)

Hello Mike, 1. I saw your scene have a lot of tiny bone in the middle of bone chain, which is very dangerous for dynamic simulation. Here is attached a file for that: 2. Please refer this link for getting more information of how to setup perfect dynamic simulation: basefount.atlassian.net/wiki/display/MDE/5+Steps+to+Build+Perfect+Physical+Character3 I attached a modified file which is much much better in dynamic simulation ARM_humanIK_anima_OAT_v015_mlb_NEW.zip (390.45 KB) Hope this helps!
