hi Yeah! In the attached Image ,I need pose (1) ... not (2) .. I mean not also I want an agent to follow the terrain .. but not aligning to the terrain's normal direction.. so do I need to make a decision for that? the question about agent speed type ( like climb, ramp... ) was about this effect that I need... do I need to make a climbing motion, then select climb, or ramp type to create actions, then make a decision to do this action when normals of the terrain change?- one of the members's asked about fighting pairs and you'd told him to be included in the next release (a objective, subjective action sync technology (OSAS) ) .. is it now in MiArmy 2? can be used in hill ramp fighting? sorry for my non-stop questions.. I'm eager to completely figure out what is going on . . thank you .. Attachments:

Hello, according to your image attached, you just need "locomotion", neither"climb" nor "ramp". then you need "ground" channels control the agent follow the terrain. if some people climb the cliff or ladder, that need climb, ramp is really rare to use. And, Yes the OSAS support 3d space of course. That is already in Miarmy 2.0 beta, and already in document, we'll make some samples and video tuts soon. hi again climbing action needs some requirements .. like hands helping body to pull up .. and legs bending.. or so! I couldn't figure out how I should do this..with just ground channels ! ground channels ( like .dx, .dz .. ) only tell agent to bend forward, back ,... etc, but I need agent to move like he is climbing .. hands on the ground and legs bending ad supporting body , and of cource follow the shape of the terrain.. no simple walk of terrain! so I think here I need another action for climbing and trigger this action when the slope of the ground changes to positive values .. ( like picture) am I right?? and could you please make a video tutorial about these types of actions ( like climb, ramp ... )?? thank you soo much! Attachments:

Hi there are 3 types of situations, Please see the attachment picture 1. the slope is fixed just like ladder, the people climb on that walk: locomotion type climb: climb type
2. the slope is not fixed but the people is creeping on the terrain, this need use a locomotion (creep) and let agent follow terrain. walk: locomotion type climb: locomotion type
3. the slope is not fixed but the people will based on the slope and choose how much "climp" on the slope. We suggest in this situation, use action blend, such as "walk->walkUphill" channel, also need follow terrain walk: locomotion type climb: locomotion type

Yes, there are "ground.dx" and "ground.dz". But in my opinion, it just need one " ground.dz" for detecting the terrain in z direction (in front of agent) Best regards! thank you very much...
