Many battlefield animations ignore the civilian exile aspect . When the army approaches the village , the men go out to fight, but the civilians, pack up and go the other way. Many times they have to load up their horses and wagons and put the women and children on the wagons. This would be a challenging animation to consider since the wagons are like the ships in your tutorials. The children could probably use the same rig but scaled down.

Hello Tor,
You're right! Yes, the battlefields on screen are just for entertaining (like the iron-man or thor). But the real war is cruel, we should never forget the war and learn from history and prevent it.
We respect your post here and remind people don't forget the "civilian exile". And if you want to create an animation for this, we can provide help as much as possible.
The wagons is not difficult to setup, just need some expression control on wheels. 097 Expression Control Video tutorial talked about this.
Please let us know if you need any help.
Cheer! --Yeah

Thank you for your kind response. But, even the best "battlefields on screen" also show the effects on civilian populations. for example Lord of the Rings - Battle of the 5 armies did show some civilian exiles. Also, many of the alien invasion movies show scenes with roads inundated with civilian vehicles trying to escape. I think this is also a great opportunity for you to market your product, because many of these battle movies have scenes show civilian exiles. cheers. and thanks for your help

So, here's what Ive been considering. 1)Mother (or father) holding baby (probably like horse and rider workflow); children riding in wagon with mother leading wagon. cow or horse with pack and wagon. that's probably a good start. Mother followed by children could probably done with master and slave relationship (but children are walking faster). One challenge I came across was the wagon penetrating the terrain....?
